new torque converter really neccessary?
I have yet to go to the track, and i dont plan on it until either i s/c my car, or put in a stroker engine. Do i need to buy a new torque converter on top of a shift kit?

You definitely don't need to do it. It's a great mod when done right, but not a requirement. It all comes down to what you want.
Will it make the car noticeably quicker? Hell yeah it will. Is it what you want or worth it for you personally? Only you can answer that. Darrin |
