overdrive question


ok so on my v6 automatic, my overdrive button doesnt work, well i took it apart and there is a wire that has been cut and i have no idea where it goes to, any idea?

What's the year of your V6?

On my '02 there is a 2 conductor wire that runs from the button, down the shifter, into a small plug of the same 2 conductor wire then disappears towards the front of the car.

hmmm mines a 99, whoever had it before me cut it short enough to wear it doesnt even run down the shifter, otherwise i could have probably figured out where it went, what color is your wire or the plug?

everything is black. wire has a white tracer if memory serves me
