haha so i got an etest

passed with flying colors but they local dyno shop that does the emissions test gave me a print out. My idle AFR is 13.5 and my part throttle @ 40km/h is 14.7 and WOT was not tested.

shouldn't my idle be same AFR as my PT run.

from what I know of the guy who was doing my dyno, the car should be at 14.6 or so through wot. just my 2 cents.

N/A tuning 13.0-13.5 for max power on WOT

PT should be 14.5-14.9 for economy and to meet emissions standards.
Im just confused as to why Idle has a different AFR then the PT they should have the same. And it was in a closed loop because they wait for the car to get out of open loop before they start the E test.

In general, your idle will be a little rich to promote stability. 14.7:1 at WOT would be death to an engine IMO.

I agree 13.0-13.5 WOT is what you want for N/A i just thought idle would be same at PT but guess im wrong. Thanks!

Actually, most motors will respond a little different at varying fuel ranges. Mine makes the best all around power at about 12.7:1.

this is true. but i don't have a wide band so i ain't going to mess with anything just yet. i just have a canned tune. so im sure its pretty conservative yet.

^That's smart to stick with the a/f where it is for now then. You would laugh your ass off at mine when I get on it from a dig. It has quite a bit of tip-in fuel if I stand on it off idle, and that bitch lets loose some black smoke like crazy for an instant.
