To dump or not to dump

ok so my cat back is rubing on my uca's and i am trying to decide weather i want to cut the pipes off after the mufler and make them in to dumps for now, or just try and fix the rubing ishue asap and leave it exiting out the rear.

also does any one know if thes whole kit is fully Stainless, meaning id have to get a diferent wier/gas to weld it.

i think you should try to fix the problem, and if you cant then do dumps.. i have a dump on mine and it sounds pretty good, but im going with dual flowmaster 40's catback system soon.

If that exhaust you linked now is what you are using now, then it is a y-pipe NOT an x-pipe.....its just dual outlets.....not true duals. Why not just get a GT bumper to solve you problem? That what most sixers do

I'm not sure on the 99-04 models, but I had a rubbing problem with my exhaust on my 06. All I did was put a thicker washer on the screw that goes into the spot where the previous muffler was, and that solved my problem. But come to think of it, the 99-04 models have a turn down tail pipe stock...so you'll probably have to go with a gt bumper

that is what im using but i took the y cenecter out and now have a pypes x pipe in there.
here r some pics of my dual exhaust.

and the bumper has nothing to do with the problom, it is the upper control arms.
u can see wear they rub in this pic, it is like that on both sides.

ya i was thinking about that, i think that is what im gana do. but ii need to get hangers first. the kid who had the car befor me had the cat back instaled, and when they did it they just welded the hangers, from the tail pipe right to the body. so im gan probaly cut them off and get actual hangers to di it right this time.
