Tiptronic
a tiptronic transmittion.... an auto transmittion that, if the driver wants, can change control of the gear changing to the driver.... is there one I could put in my mustang?

No, nothing like that available for Mustangs. I've read of variable gearing transmissions, though I don't think it's feasable in higher horsepower applications (strength). I've never heard of one you could adjust on the fly... that's pretty neat. Something like that for my go-kart would be the win.
**edit** I just realized you were talking about manully controlling the shiftpoints. I know theirs not anything setup to put on the steering wheel, or to change on the fly, though handheld tuners can change your shift points and firmness for the transmission you have now. |

i dont mean to be rude but you are you tring to make the mustang into a euro car? the tiptronic would be nice but after a few mods it would really weak not to mention a good way to hurt the car

Of course not! Its just i don't even have my liscense yet (i only have my permit, 17y.o.) and I can't drive stick... and i want a lil more control of the gear shifting of my car...

You should get one of those programmers that you stick in your car somewhere and you can save like up to 4 settings on it. That way when you want to get up and go you can just turn to an aggressive setting, going to the store or driving your mom, turn it to factory. I think someone on this site has it where you can even save settings for the type of fuel you run. Like a setting for performance with unleaded and one for premium.
