58K and not as far as I know. It was a Hertz rental before I saved it and that's what I always blamed the problem on.

yeah, with 58k the original tranny fluid is starting to break down. Have the tranny flushed and get yourself some synthetic tranny fluid. Awww you bought a previous rental car??? that things was beat to hell and taken off jumps and such......

Most likey. What would you do for $10 aday insurance?

Although I stay away from the back seat. When I pulled it out to do my scoop lights I found 5 fake nails of various colors and $10 bill which was used to buy gas.

it's life:
Hertz rental in Massachussetts
3 auto auctions
Dodge dealership

very true however, u mean a bilt trany, not tuned, tuned will help some but not as much as a a shift kit and shuch,
however the manual has the advanteg of less drive train loss then the auto.

No amount of drive train loss will make up for somebody missing a gear in a manual

Almost sounds like a bad MLPS (or neutral safety switch at the parts stores LOL).

This is a really common complaint when that sensor goes bad. You can get one at Autozone, Advance Napa... Just ask for a neutral safety switch for your car.

Note on installation...

These have to be indexed. There are alignment marks that need to line up when the transmission is in neutral. On installation you set the parking brake, put the transmission in neutral, install the sensor and align the marks and tighten it down with the screws. Then just plug it in and see if that did it or not.

Cheap fix at less than $40 if this is the problem. If not then time to rebuild in all liklihood.
