where can i ge a hood with a hood scoop?

where can i ge a hood with a hood scoop?


where can i get a hood with the scoop like the 99-04 GT's have? ive been wanting one since i got my car last year, been checkin craigslist forvever, havent gotten lucky, cont find one using google, should i just go to the dealership and ask?

im guessing you have the 99-04 stang... you can get them of most web sites.. look for oem replacement parts. the hood scoop will be sold seperately and you can find those almost anywhere

Just buy a hood scoop and have it painted to match...$100 for the scoop and prolly like $300 for paint and labor. Depending on who you know.

well I dont kno how many different sizes of paint there are. If the painter already has the paint that you need then ya it would be cheaper. But if he doesnt then you have to pay him to go buy a pint or whatever the smallest amount is you can buy.

I just kno paints expensive and so is labor unless u kno someone or can do it yourself.

i could do it for under 20
a nice layer of primer then a few coats of duplicolor coler mach paint, and 1 or 2 of clear and call it done,
or u could do it the real way for maby 100 give or take a little

yeah, i would do that, just get the scoop, but i have one of those fake heat extracter hood that faces the other way, not the stock hood, that why i need the OEM hood, do u think they would have them at the dealerships?

maby but not cheep, the will be expensive.
also i may be geting a new hood this summer, for clerance ishues, but if u r interested and still looking then i would be willing to sell u mine.

Check Ebay you can usually find some on there , I got one off there a while back for $80.00
