ok what do i need for a split port swap. i gotta 98 v6.
What do i need: ?

How much does it cost: ???

it is 800, but if u r doing that swap i would recomend stepping up to some ported heads, and intake, that way u get more power out of the same work and some more mony.

ok, if i buy that now, and put that on my stock engine, if i buy the 4.2L stroker off of precision engine will i need/be able to put it on there for more HP, or will i not need it? if it wont do better for the 4.2L i wont buy it since its 800 dollars... i was thinkin like 3-4 hundred

kiddo, modding isnt cheap, nor will you get much power with 400 hundred bucks.

I have a complete split port swap kit for $300 plus shipping. The only thing you would need is the modified fuel rail

jugg i think sss was also talking about the engine being from precision

ok thanks for the info... i dunno wth u two ssstang and juggalo are talking about with a boat... and how it even relates to the topic.
you mean i wont get the engine, or the engines from precision aren't a good buy? because i will get that engine... im 17... i work at taco bell, i gotta wait till i turn 18 till i get on at a factory before i even worry about that big of a mod. but yes after i assume factory work, i will need to be replacing the engine when i can. it's at 101k miles, and as we all know, that's about the time stuff starts breakin on mustang, and mine is already starting w/ the problems. i gotta have the engine pulled to replace freeze plugs that is gonna cost me about 400 dollars to have fixed.

from what i have herd no u shouldent, look in to a engin from delk, rpm, or ssms
