well i was traveling down a city street and didnt realize that the vehicle in front of me had stoped and had just let off there brakes so when i looked up it was to late to stop ( i was doing about 40-45mph) i slamed on my brakes and tried to steer away but i was about 10 feet from the rear of the car and it was to late . It pretty much took the entire front bumper off of my car. and now i need a new one anyone know where i could find one. would like to find a nice cobra front one if possible ( i have an 04 cobra motor in storage at home) so i want to do a possible car change over just need a front bumper and a new paint job. Anybody have any suggestions???

Sorry to hear about ur stang man Glad it didnt mess it up more than it did. U could prob find a good one on ebay or maybe even craigslist.com (doubt it but its worth a try). I dont know of any places that sell em new tho. Good luck man.

you can get the bumper from any retailer that sells OEM parts... dont know anyoff the top of my head but ill look

newfordparts.com is the first one i found but there are tons of them out there just look. i believe you may need a guide bracket for the cobra bumper as well but im not sure.

so the bumper is obviously done for...did you check behind for damage to the radiator or parts thereof? 40mph is a pretty hard contact to not have damage to anything else.

no not yet havn't had much time here lately and im just trying to get a parts list made so when i finally do all the work its all at the same time, like rear end gears, locker, new bumper, Nitros, and a new paint job. with all the help from friends and some good discounts so far my total for all of this is around $2,500. A lot of the work im able to do my self, obviously i wont be able to paint the car myself but i have some help with that. if anyone has any ideas please feel free to send them my way. also thinking about puting the cobra motor i have in storage at home into my car. But im working on some other ideas, and right now thats what most of them are, for the time being.

well i say buy a trans for that cobra motor and the wiring harnesses, ecu, pcm etc... an 8.8" rear and a smaller pulley for the s/c than drop it all in!!
