Oil level on dipstick
So i changed my oil today to royal purple 5W30 and with all 5 quarts in it doesn't read to the max level on my dipstick, its about 3/4 the way up. I know this is acceptable but I say this because it used to read to the top of the max level with 5 quarts of motorcraft 5W-20 synthetic in it. Could the different oil cause this?, and yes I fully warmed it up

no different oil does not cause this
and do not fill to the max incase you were worried
