if you're gonna make the "MUSTANG" letters on the rear bumper stand out so much with white inserts...why put it on the rear window as well? I like the idea of the windshield visor decal...but i'd skip the rear window if you're doin the bumper.

+1 on not all the windshield decals, people already know it's a mustang, if they don't then they should be shot lol
the dumbest non ricer thing i've ever seen is a mustang pony emblem on the back of an f-150

look at mine dude...the stipes + pinstripes down the middle are rockin. the pinstripes add a custom look, but the rocker stripes would be too much. i like the idea of the mutang on the windshile visor though....i was going to do that, just never got around to it. here's som epics of mine...

My thoughts... by Jack Handy... well not really.

Cheap, subtle, and says everything.

Mustang 3rd Brake Light Decal (99-04)

Slap this on your windshield but leave the rear alone.

Mustang Windshield Decal (White)

(I know there's some out there with the slimmer, cursive. If you can find it, since i'm too lazy right now, i think it would look the best with your colors.)

If you get the rocker strips get the ones that do NOT have mustang on it. Being proud of your stang is one thing, but tell me seeing those harley dudes with harley written on every inch of everything aren't annoying? Exactly. Plus i hate the factory released rocker strips that ford made. The solid ones with the pinstripe (Mustang Rocker Stripes - White (79-07)) are sexy IMO.

Tint is a must. make sure you don't get the film though. Get the real stuff. Places should do it for 185. Less if you know some peoples. Or know some people's who know some people's, who robbed some people's.

Then get some caliper paint, and paint dem brakes.

After all this you should have some decent flair that won't be totally annihilated by the lack of rims. HOWEVER! While you're waiting for these pieces in the mail, get on the phone with the junkyards. Call around. You should be able to find some S Style wheels from totaled cars or repo'd cars.
(Chrome S Style Wheel 94-04 (16x8) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!)

However if yo don't get any luck finding some cheap-ish wheels, just start saving. Search the web and get pics and prices. Then take em to your local tire shops, Les Shwab, Discount tire, whatever you have, and show them the printouts. Most times they will try and match the price. Especially if you have any form of history with em. But like the ones i linked ^^^ are only 149 a rim from americanmuscle.com and i know they're cheaper somewhere else. Rims and tires are gonna be your biggest appearance upgrade short of a body kit (If you're into that thing).

ALSO... Ford Mustang Mach 1 Chin Spoiler at AmericanMuscle.com - Free shipping! can help if you're like me and you "Think your stang is just TOO DAMN HIGH OFF THE GROUND!... but don't like most body kits."

Naturally the rims and body kits are the bigger dollar upgrades.

-poindexter-

P.S. if you're going with all the white trim pieces then go to autobadges.com (for the airbrushed) or simply go to Mustungs Unlimited and order a catalog. In said free catalog look through until you find emblems. And there you will find a white pony to replaces your probably chrome stock "running horse". Slap that in your front grill because in my opinion, people who go badgeless are ashamed. Don't believe me? Look at all the hondas, acuras, and VWs rollin around with no badge.

regardless painting your wheel wells is pointless too...just save up for new rims and tires you can pick up almost new ones for $300 most of the time[/quote]

agreed, dont wast the money on painting them. bigger wheels will make the car look wayy more aggressive and cooler all around. I bought some nice cobra r 17x9.5 I think? rims for about 120 each, car looked very different after that. tires just depend on how nice your wanting... though i wouldnt skimp on them...
