xcal 3


Well ive been talking to Justin at sct about the xcal3 do you guys think iwill notice a big diff with all my mods and a tune for 93 octane? just wondering if its worth $400??

not a huge difference...but a noticable difference. that's for sure.

like i said in the other thread
i cut off .2-3 in the 1/8th using it
i'd get the xcal2...

from stock to 93 octane i noticed the difference using both tunes at the track and the tune wasnt that great either
justins will be better

but dou think thats the best i could do for the money and y would u get the xcal2?

custom tune other parameters
theres PLENTY reason
if you get gears you can recalibrate your speedo with it
more hp
didnt you tlk to justin?

no like is this the best bang for my buck like could i buy other thing for $400 that would be alot more power?

its a smart investment and one that you will use all the time... with every little mod you can tweak your tune a little and make your car just that much better over what it would have been with out the tuner

honestly i don't know the difference between the 2 and 3...

NITROUS

waste gate spring
pulley

those to will give you the best bang for your buck up to 100rwhp+ but you need to spend money to be able to use those

Gears (but kinda ghey without a tlok)
Nitrous
Waste Gate Spring (gotta spend money first)
Pulley (gotta spend money first)
Boost Controller (gotta spend money first)

you can get a nice nitrous setup for about 550, nut the tuner is well worth it

i was told the Xcal 3 still had bugs and it was wiser for now to buy the Xcal2

im not sure really i would think it should be able to do at least all the main things minus some small upgrades that you prob dont need, but i really dont know im actually still looking to buy one so i dont know all the answers yet either.
