w.e to me anything with a body kit thats not made by that car company...(such as saleen kits..) is rice. its my opinion...u can make 100 post sayin its nice and for show car...but i'll put $20 down sayin its rice.
there is no point in that except looks. and as far as mustang. i havent seen an body kit that looks good aside from saleen or roush...they make one that i think is OKAY still wouldnt get it. aside from that invader, stalker all those other ones look bad in my opinion.

I would pimp a 350. There is one here at work that is pretty nice. A guy in my dept bought a G35 last year and it really nice. I give him hell all the time because he bought it with an auto.

Yeah so when I mention rice i basicly refer to anything made in Japan. Its not really a bad thing to be made in Japan at all. Companies such as Nisson and Toyota make a hell of a car! Its only a bad ricer when the car ends up getting its springs cut to lower the car, and huge bolt on metal spoilers are added, and then come the infamous stickers!

its ok...body kits are body kits...sum ppl like em some dont...i respect all.. but if they have plans of just body kits, big aluminum wing, stickers and no engine mods or none planned for the future...that is just rediculous...why make a car look fast as if it does 11's or 12's and hits 16's....
it shouldnt matter if somone says ur car is rice anyway...trust me as much as i make fun of it i cant hide. first thing i did to my car was get a big body kit(invader) i hated it, loooked nice at the time but never again would i do it, i had plans to mod it! but the body kit and spoiler i got pretty much stole $3,000 from me.
if i had that money not...i'd have full bolt on's, cams, ported and polished heads, everythin on my car now plus it being lowered, and i'd still have a lil money left over to save on the s/c....
so yes i was a ricer i'll admit it. but i'd do almost anythin to get my $3000 back...biggest set back ever, i worked sooo hard for all that money

i dont mind seeing mustangs with body kits. i like the way they look stock, but IMO some body kits make the stang look more aggressive. me and kerry have the same body kit, cept mine doesnt have the cut-outs for the fog lights. i rather like the body kit.. i believe it looks more aggressive than stock. i also have big plans of engine mods as well. im kinda stuck on an island in alaska right now so i have absolutely no need for engine mods right now since there is no strip to race on. as for now im going with fixing all my appearence mods before i do the engine for that reason. one i finish with the appearance itll be nuthing but performance after that. i hope im not considered "rice" lmao

that is a nice stang turp... and i have no problem with stickers and neons... as long as you dont go overboard with the stickers. the only time i believe a car is rice is when someone only has appearance mods and thinks their car can out-run any other car (as said in an earlier post)

Dude calm down. By tryin to defend yourself by sayin your not gonna argue over the internet...your kinda attacking Turp. Also if he was so immature why would Joe make him a mod? He wouldn't so calm down already. Everyone has there own thoughts on what is and what isn't rice, but sometimes you go a little too far with the whole anti-body kit thing. To each is there own.

When I question things or anything I do that to see your point of veiw better...it may seem like I'm actin like an ass, but seriously I'm not. Also I play devils advocate a lot. I do my best to see both ends of the spectrum, and even whats in between. With the whole body kit thing you are all anti body kit. Maybe for twice the downforce HAHA. And why do imports put wings on them anyways aren't most of them front wheel drive anyways?

ricer talk is when a kid says "Yea, I got this double stack aluminum wing to keep the downforce down on my civic." Seriously not all imports are ricers. I have respect for a lot of imports. 3000gt 300zx 350z supra skyline g35 rsx wrx sti couple of other built hondas or acuras and a couple others I don't have respect for these completely stock.engines with widebody kits, neons on their neons, 50 million decals, huge aluminum wings, coffee can muffler, and so on and so on.

yeah thats true these are respectable cars, but every car has the potential to be made into a ricer by some dumb person. ive seen a couple wrx STI's totally ruined by dudes who rice their shit out. and at a hot import nights i saw the UGLYIEST 350z ever! total waste of a good car. it had a ridicoulsy huge wing on it with a silly looking wide body kit. point being you could rice out any car impot or not.

imo most ricers are stock cars that slap unneccessary things on there car to dramaticly make it look fast. specially huge wings and exhaust tips! BUT in some occasions people can make items that ricers use look nice on their car. i especially cant stand the ricers that have an annoyingly loud exhaust. its like my vacuum sounds better and probably runs better than those things! And lastly, its always fun to roll down your window and ask a ricer with a huge wing if he has frequent flyer miles.
