gains are negligible without porting the intake to match the tb size. you may lose power with that setup.

I don't think I've lost power, I have that set up with underdrive pullies, 160 thermostat, diablo chip. Royal purple in every fluid (engine, trans, rear end) I just ordered my 4.10 gears with t-loc today. But I when I did the air intake and tb there was a noticeable increase, especially in the mid rpm range and sound of my engine. The chip made this even more noticeable. ( I wish I woulda went with another chip though I like the diablo chip, but would rather have the new sniper chip which you can do a custom tune from your computer from your mods, instead of paying a $100 for getting my diablo reprogrammed and dynoed. But there is alot I can do from my diablo on the user end, others can't.

I noticed that on your profile you have 4.10 gears, what kind of new kick can I expect from them coming from stock gears?

the major gain was the CAI, until you get into forced induction the tb doesn't impact any where near as what the upper and lower intake manifolds do. i would go with an intake manifold spacer rather than the tb spacer, elongating the intake runners will produce more power. great choice on 4.10s and t-lock that will give you the SOTP feel you are after.

the reason I went with diablo over sct, with diablo I can turn off my 02 sensors from the programmer and the sct doesn't have that feature listed. I want to get that pypes exhaust with the off road x pipe. I initally ordered the exhaust before my gears, but they sent me and e-mail temporarily sold out. So I just used that money for gears and t-loc

I will eventually get a the upper and lower intake manifolds, and replace the injectors with that. But I wanna get exhaust and lower the car down first. I already have 17x9 rims. But when I change the intakes I wanna change my cam, valve springs, rollers, timing chain. Stuff like that. And thats going to be awhile before I save that kind of money. Then get my chip reprogrammed for all that if I gotta pay $100 for it.

A good v6 mustang website is www.rpmoutlet.com Thats where I get most of my stuff They don't have cams or such, but a lot of good bolt on mods. (cold air, tb, chips, gears, maf sen, plugs, wires, tires, ignition systems, injectors, fuel pumps, lowering kits, clutch kits, subframe connectors, brake upgrades... etc Sometimes I wish my car was an manual instead of automatic

If you want a sct tuner, diablo, or sniper tuner at rpmoutlet.com if you enter their coupon id, they'll give you a 30.00 rebate and there prices are the same as other sites so you get a real discount. And they offer free next day air on all tuners.

check it out on their site I got the diablo chip with the $30 discount just type in the coupon code at check out, they have free next day air on all tuners. The diablo is $ 20 more I just figured you get what you pay for and I wanted the 02 disable. When you check out select the next day air option and it is free. Its on the promotion for it. I selected the next day air and it was there in 2 days. you can track your order online also from rpm.

instead on having to use the diablo tune you can modify on the tuner or the sct with specs you can modify also the sniper allows you to make as many custom tunes as you want for your car, as you get parts, all from your computer. You can tune 1 other car for free unlike other tuners. It still locks itself to your vin number.. But you can do one other car for free and buy sniper points to tune more cars for reletively cheap. Other tuners are a 1 car only. If you pull up 2 windows side by side the sniper tuner has more peramiters to tune making your engine run more efficiently
