technically a blower is a better name for a roots type s/c since all they do is push air...where as a twin screw compresses it....but theyre both s/c

turbo = exhaust-gas driven
s/c = belt-driven
blower = your girlfriend (or boyfriend if your gay...)

shadow, im confused by the link to your picture of your car....you have a red interior and all but a blue bandanna hangin from the rearview mirror....anyhow, when thats out of the way, how did you paint your plastic piece that sits in the door? did you sand and prime before painting it red? i only cause i had to replace on in my car and it diddnt come out good....matter of fact....its horrible, gotta redo it but when i do redo it i wanna do the rest of the interior to.

blower originated on the terms of the roots blowers (superchargers) by weiand 6-71/8-71---or 144/174 that people ran with carbs (mainly) at the drag strip.

superchargers either use ribbed or cogged belt drives.

BLOWER and SUPERCHARGER ARE THE SAME THING, a Blower sits on top of the engine while a regular supercharger is mounted somewhere else and there run off a belt Basically a turbo look alike

a turbo runs off the exhaust
