Accelerator Adjustment

has anyone done this mod? http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/fcar/99pedals.htm
the way ford put the accelerator pedals does not allow you to heal toe.
but my friend said this mod does not sound like a good idea.

and another random question: any drifters in here or has anyone tried drifting in their v6 lol?

thanks for your help guys

you can pull up slack in the accel. pedal and put a 1/4 nylon spacer on the cabe and couple it with hose clamps.

true drifting requires a t-loc right?? i mean u can get it to slide, but to drift u gotta make sure both wheels are spinning equally.

if you don't have a lot of money to spend on tires.. don't mess with it.. and with only 1 wheel its rather pointless lol

im not sure....i saw an 05 mustang win a drift event and they were goin throught wat they did with the suspension and everythin to make it like that....and i have no clue lol they went through soooo many things..

drifting isnt sumthin u really would wana get into with a mustang...im guessin by the time uve got it set as a good drift car it'll be well over 3-4 grand..u need engine mods to make it fast, probably all new suspension axles, struts, springs or coil overs, certain tires rims...im not sure but thats my guess

limited slip differentials or t-locks can fix that without spending an arm or a leg =)
im planning to drift the crap out of my stock tires, to practice and for an excuse to get new tires and wheels lol. Drifting is big here in vegas, and I had no choice to get my mustang cause it was such a good deal. I love it though its an awsome car. Im like the only asian dude with a mustang in vegas, all my friends have 240's and right hand drive silvias.
