if cost isent a obstical and u want the best praformance then get coil overs

well im not shure i have been locking at them for a while and havent decided, but to me that disition u need to realy figer out what u want from ur car, meaning, a streat machine, auto-x, or drag

ok well just a heads up, coil overs make for a much stifer ride, if u don't mide that then ya go for them, other wize stay with the stock style. and ya MM makes good stuf, that is streetable. but i also think the ebiaci (speeling) kit may not be to bad

Coilovers can offer higher wheel rates (meaning, better handling) AND better ride quality at the same time.

Just talk to Maximum Motorsports and they'll recommend a setup based on your intended use.

ok but i wanna do it all while im at it springs shocks n struts. O n how much will i be able to lower it with 17 inch rims with a tires hight of atleast 40

Well, first, 40 is not the height... it's the height as a percentage of width.

So, a 275/40 is "taller" than a 245/40, for instance.


With regard to how much you can lower the car. With coilovers, the height is VERY adjustable. Depending on the spring rate and spring length, you can generally lower it [safely] more than with conventional springs, but also adjust it heigher when/if necessary.

BTW, you'll need C/C plates in order to use coilovers. Basically, it's not going to be cheap, but it'll be FAR superior to virtually any conventional spring setup.

Yeah, you'll still need new shocks and struts.

Like I said, it's an expensive setup:

I'd expect to spend, oh, $1500+ on parts alone to go to Maximum Motorsports coilovers.
