Lowering Springs

I was thinking about getting some lowering springs. How long does it usually take? Say at home in your driveway(if you can) or say with a lift.

A couple hours. Rear springs are a bbreeze, but the front are difficult. As long as you have some patience with it you should be ok. You should go ahead and get new struts and shocks while your lowering it.

very easy to intsall, all you do is jack the rear of the car up, i did it by the pumpkin(rear) so i could later control how much i dropped it later on, throw some jack stands under the car, under the shocks, undo the quad shock in the wheel well, if you want you can use springs compressors, you dont have to for the rear, lower the rear end down, and just pull on the springs, and wa la there out, you can get the new ones in without compressors to but its alot easier with them, then put them in, make sure there seated, jack up the rear, connected shocks and quad shocks, and there ya go rears done, the front is almost the same process, just a little more to unbolt, i just took the rotor off of my mach it made things alot easier, undo the shock and lower it down use compressors and take the spring out, put new one in put everything back together, oh yea jack the front up to do this lol, and take the wheel off lol, btu thats basically it, i did it in a little over an hour, its real easy

they drop 2.2" all 4 corners. the handling is responsive and about like stock (i have the front sway bar removed as well, so i have some noticeable body roll in high corners)

also, speed bumps are not an option because i have 2 1/2" ground clearance at the driver side long tube collector pipe and 6 1/2" ground clearance front bumper.

no crap. i have to bypass some speedbumps and i have stock headers and the prokit. i can only imagine what it's going to be like when i get the LT's.

hmmm......speedbumps FTL, im debating between the sportline and the HR springs. Either way it seems ground clearance will suck.
