99-04 fuel filter help!?!?!?


how do you get it out? lol everything is off except the fuel lines but they seem to be stuck. anyone have and hints?

you need a fuel line disconnection tool
you can find them at any autoparts store

How to Replace The Fuel Filter In Your Ford F-150

here ya go for a little more help.thats an f150 but our cars have the same type of filter so that should be very helpful..make sure you dont put the filter on backwards

i didnt need one in my car i replaced the fuel filter in my 2002 when i first bought it i just pulled hard as hell and it was a pain in the ass but it worked

Good way to damage the fuel lines. Then your screwed.

Next time do it the right way and use the tool like in the above link.

yeah i got the tool and it still took me a minute to figure it out. once i looked at the inside of the fuel line tho the other side was easy as pie
