Question (PSI without Intercooler)

Is it safe to run 10psi without an intercooler with a car thats not driven hard?

that's pushing it a bit but as long as your tune is on spot you should be fine.
I would personally get the extra insurance of a $400.00 inter cooler rather than a $4000.00 motor though.

all comes down to the tune... if its tuned correctly then yes

I use to do it all the time. But I did have the best cooling system on the market. If you can afford the intercooler, it is good insurance.

im mostly looking ahead at future plans for the car at this point. another tune is definite before anything goes on, and with another tuner.

Get another tune, and 10psi should be fine.

you should be at like 340ish with what you have with all that and 10psi

Where can you get an intercooler for that cheap? I always see the around 1k

obviously using any intercooler is gonna require some fabbin since no one make a direct bolt on for a vortech right?
