Are these ebay gaskets any good?


eBay Motors: 98-04 3.8 & 4.2 Ford Mustang & Pick-Up Head Gasket Set (item 280195481817 end time Feb-03-08 21:38:09 PST)


are these gaskets any good because they are very cheap?????

Everything i've bought from ebay has been totally crap quality except for my mac hts coated shorty headers. so thats like 1 in 10 items were good. but i still paid about the same price as anywhere would like 225$.

I would not buy gaskets off Ebay to save a couple bucks it just is not worth it. Go and get yourself some name brand gaskets. Fel Pro would be a great choice.

alright, i was just wondering. And do you guys reccomend replacing hte headbolts because i know it is not required for the v6s. (i just was the highest bidder on the rpm heads and cam on ebay, altough i didnt meet the reserve, hopefully i can get them anyways)

yes it is required to replace the head bolts
any torque squence that you have to turn a certain amount of degrees will require it having to be replaced
but just to a certain torque spec...no

ebay everything is bad. not had good luck there , too many "brand new" things show up like a bomb went off in the ups truck or somethin.
