header panel

The mounts for my front body bumper cover have a couple of cracks in it...Its nothing to serious though it seems that the person who owned the car before me must have hit another car in a parking lot or something lil fender bender...anyways i was just wondering if the part i was looking for was called the header panel. my car is a 2000 v6 and the bracket that goes across holds the lights grill and front bumper cover on.... i looked at some picture online and believe its the header panel

Also are there any real tools needed to replace this or is it basically just take the pushpins out of the bumper take the lights off and the grill off, take it off put new one on and put everything else on?

ya you got it right. when i crashed my car i had to replace it too. i went to Latemodel Restoration Supply - America's #1 Restoration and Performance Parts Warehouse and bought it. its a cheap part but shipping is a killer cuz its considered an oversized piece.

I bought one for my friend off of ebay... Its not OEM so we got a good deal. I'll let you know how it fits...
