welcome to the site bro, its a great site for info on your mustang. i browse around here almost everyday. there are a lot of posts like this already. my 04 v6 is stock too -besides a k&n filter i picked up at pep boys. but my first plans are headers, h-pipe, catback to get rid of the stock sound. after that im gonna go with some underpullies, 4.10 gears, and traction lock differential. but thats just all in my head right now, im working for a phone company and a chinese resteraunt to get all this crap going lol. im guessing by the time im done i will have put at least 1500 into my car

Lind, i would recomend getting an exaust upgrade first. depending on what you want, an x pipe will give you more horse power, an h pipe will give you more sound. personally i would get long headers, an h pipe (off road pipe is best if you dont have emmisions) and mac cat back. also grab a k&n cold air intake. you can get them for 70-100 dollars, and they give you up to 10hp

i have the same set up. but also there are a good amount of post very similar to these exact questions. your new soo its not like we'd complain but full exhaust and long tubes would be a good amount of hp to start up on.
i have flowmaster but MAC sounds very good too, i have a post on exhaust clips u can check out. but MAC exhaust, H pipe and MAC long tubes would be an ideal set up and offering a decent amount of HP for you
