2000 theft system???

My 2000 will not start. Turns over good but does not hit. Theft light flashes every second while trying to start. Can I by pass the theft system?

I bought it as a rebuilder, this is key that came with it. I have been a month trying to figure out why it won't start.

that's more than likely your reason.

the keys need to be programmed by the dealer.

if you had the original key, you could hold the back of it to the back of the nonchipped key and it will crank. otherwise, tow to the dealer for a program.
