Wierd Problem With My Radiator Leaking, Please Help!
Ok, so I'm driving and my car starts running hot, I hurry home and see that the radiator is low. So I follow all the instructions and fill her up with coolant. I start it up and everything seems fine, I take a look around and don't see the radiator leaking at all, so I figure that my problem is solved.
Well, I decide to let it run just for the hell of it while I vacuum the inside. Then I notice the steam again and a huge puddle on the cement. I look under the car and it's dripping, but not in the front by the radiator and water pump, towards the back on the passenger side near the AC. Anyone have any idea what this could be? I'm a poor college student and I'd rather fix it myself than bring it to a shop. Much thanks in advance. |

I got it, the water circulates through the heater and the heater core is busted.

for a work around you can bypass the heater core, but you wont have heat in the winter time, but can put you back on the road until you get it fixed.

$#@%$^$#^ I started pulling crap off and realised that I would have to pull out the entire dash to get to it. So I bypassed it and I'm gonna put it all back together tomorrow. Man, why do they have to make it so insane to get to.
I live in South Louisiana, so it's not like the heater will be missed. I'll fix it later when I have a free weekend. (
