AB can beat a stock 5.0 pretty easily, he runs with or just barly below pre 2005 GT's (mid-high 14's, he's got a blue split port with a tune, gears, T-lok, and full no cats exhaust) and you should be faster than him

I feel like a bit of a jerk for critisizing such an amazing car, but aren't you sucking in a hot air with your current intake set up? Maybe you have it for looks or what ever reason, but if it were me I would try take in cold air from outside the engine compartment, especially on a boosted car. Agian, your car is amazing and if you know about this and like the way it is then that fine by me.
Like every machine, there is always room for improvement. That's why my car will never be done. But yes, it probably would help. It was my original idea to pull air from the passenger fender. There is a large hole right next to the filter that goes into the fender (where the stock intake was). I guess it would not be out of the question to make a heat shield. That would cause more cool fender air to enter the intake. But, I'm not sure yet if that would make a noticeable difference because of the large intercooler downstream. Any opinions?

i think you would still see some small gains, i know the jlt 3" plastic tube cai swap on the t-bird supercoupes can net up to 25hp or more over the stock setup, so an unrestrictive fenderwell setup should work too well on the SN95's like roadhowg's, but on your's you already have the big filter setup so i think the gaines would be smaller... but i would also look into a new setup because there are a few steps in your intake path, is that the OE mustang MAF you are using?

That makes sense. I'm using a 90mm MAF from a Lightning.

Oh yeah, and I'm running a 4" tube, then stepping to a 3" tube, then stepping to the stock Supercoupe throttle body. I already have a bigger throttle body in the garage, but it takes a lot of intake porting for it to match up.
