Aluminum UD pulley


I was looking on ebay for a cheaper underdrive pulley and i came across this:

it says it made out of aluminum...k i know that most ppl recommend the ASP UD pulley but is this just as good? or reliable? it doesnt come with a belt either ive noticed...if this is a good buy where could i find a belt and what size?

Seems like a good deal if you can get the belts cheap...

Personally though I worry about buying "anything" remanufactured...that's just me though..

I was looking at getting this since it came with everything..

personally, id just spend the extra money for the ASP. you dont wanna end up like AB before he got his ASP

yea thats what i figured...they're selling one here...for $109 without the belt im thinkinbout geting that


oh and mediaultra i wouldnt suggest getting that pulley. everyone told me to get an ASP UD Pulley and thats not one. cuz i was thinkin bout getting that with the SCT XCAL package but they sed to get ASP. VMP has asp and SCT package for $509

id definitely hit up Jason at VMPtuning to get the ASP or the SCT. thats an awesome deal imo

yea thats what i think im doing...i was gunna get the pulley, sct, gear and t-loc together, but im to anxious for speed so i met get the pulley and SCT from jason then the gear and t-loc

thats where the good ole' Coast Guard needed me i suppose.. im due to transfer out next year... hopefully ill get to... if not.. that just means ill have more money saved up for the ole' 6er to haul ass

hahaha well ive already been here for over a year... not many mods yet.. only a body kit.. i wanna hurry up with the appearance mods before the engine... but theyll come soon enough... and yeah when i take leave and go home to Mobile... its a constant party

Ha ha spending you days rescuing crab fisherman huh?

IMO you get what you pay for and ASP is worth every penny. I have heard horror stories of bolts shearing on Ebay U/D's. Go with ASP and your car will thank you for it!!! :wink

lol yea im deffinitly getting the ASP

as for as me being an addict...i take class online for my school for certain reasons i cant go back to school til jan....
AND MM is ALWAYS BEFORE EDUCATION! lol also i get very bored, its either hang out with my gf, race(very rare ocation now) school sleep then MM!!!!!!
lol i'll tell u how bored i get lately i'll say ive been making 40 post a day at least in the clubhouse or w/e

Hey is the one piece asp pulley better than that 2 piece kit from vmptuning, what is the smaller pulley for. And the alternator pulley is that for just more amps for the charging system?

The one piece is a crank only kit while the two piece kit is for the crank and the alt.
