Limited Slip Differential

My plans now that I have my stang are to go with 4:10's... But Im not putting all that power to the right rear lol. I want as follows: limited slip differential, 4:10s ( it's an auto ) and a tuner.

Now I found this ford racing limited slip under there v6 section

http://www.lmperformance.com/7467/86.html

Will this work. I wont need a new t-lock right?

and two will I need a speed call or will a tune work?

Last but not least will I need a bearing rebuild kit?

Thanks guys

you will need the trac lok differential, ring and pinion gears, instal kit (shims, friction modifier), gear oil, tune, and install.

trac lok= 150
gears= 150
instal kit= 60
lube= 40
tune= 379.99
install= 200

you will be cheaper off buying a kit (gears, t lok, instal kit) from "Drivetrain Specialists" off ebay, sct xcal 2 from VMPTuning, install at a local shop, and lube from them too.

tranny has nothing to do with rear end gears. if you buy an 8.8 complete rear assy., it will have a tlok factory

and Drivetrain Specialists is an ebay seller

4.10's are better for an auto, speed wise for bolt on v6es 3.73 manual = 4.10 auto

putting 3.73's in an auto wouldnt be very much of a gain in speed compared to putting in 4.10's

4.10s on auto or manual unless you are into 5th before the traps in the 1/4 with the manual. if this becomes the case, a taller tire can solve the prolem. 4.10 or broke

you could get one through ebay, but shipping will rape you. your 7.5" will handle a 13 second 1/4 time on the auto tranny. if you have a 5 speed, dont drop it with sticky tires from above 4k rpms and you should be okay too. but the 7.5" rear is not nearly as strong as the 8.8

if u get boltons and a s/c chances are ur gunna be running 12's high or low 13's so lik AB sed 7.5 can handle 13's
