nick/adam STFU i was talking about a 2 valve GT not a 3 vale. for a 2 valve it is very hard to get them to 350rwhp. it can be done it just takes a lot of work and money to do it N/A

and don't tell me to think be for i speek, you should. jusr remeber this net time you go runing your moth i have probaly forgot more about cars then you will ever know.

and stop talking shit about the 3.8 it is a good moter. i don't go around knocking the 4.0 for no reason. and wear do you get off caling it a bitch ass moter, when lets see what dose the fastes v6 mustangs have in them, the 4.0, oh wait they all have the 3.8 essex block.

Um....the S197 V6 is also cast iron...not aluminum. The S197 GT's are aluminum.

He is right! I hate to say but he is right SSS. I had a sticker laying around and slapped it on my mustang and the 4.0 repsonded so well to this sticker that I am now running 11's in the 1/4 .

thats why I run 15 on track

tho i got a nice steeda and flowmaster sticker somewhere 60h.p in just 2 stickers and bought em for 10 bucks (i think) so what do u think about the price/h.p ratio

just as a hint a lot of us arent stupid and have been building engines for awhile

secondly the 3.8 is one of the strongest and best engine platform ford has ever produced and is still more popular in the automotive engineering world than the 4.0 which is disliked by a lot of people (read the SAE tech papers)

your really starting to get very annoying so as a note stop acting like god of the world cause you have a slow 05 v6 mustang (that you think is fast) and just try to help the forum

Hey hey. It runs the 1/4 stock just as fast as ur scion does now , yes slow but it's the fastest stock v6 stang yet.. Now to new topic. I like the 4.0 alot. My reasoning is it is so easy to make power with them. You can install a X-charger or w/e in less than 20min on them, there is a video on youtube. But anyways to my point. I have owned both 3.9 and 4.0l, And i have to say I like the 4.0 much much more, because of how well it responded to my 2 mods (cai,tune).

i agry i think that the 4.0 respmnds much beter to bolt ons privided you tune it after evry one.
however i thing the 3.8 is much better for bilding big power.
