Complete V6 Upgrade

Hey all. Been browsing around here for some time. First post.

I was interested in doing a complete upgrade on my '03 V6. Trying to get some ideas for what all that can be done to increase performance for minimal cost.. The main thing I wanted to get was a supercharger (Procharger). Some other things ive been thinking of:

CAI - what kind is best?
Dual Exhaust
Tires
Brakes
Posi?
Shocks

Other ideas?

What all would need to be added get these "features". Any cost estimates/links would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: also, are there any performance details on the net that compare something like this to a stock mustang GT?

CAI...if ur tight on money ebay cheap one for $25 or a really good one K&N CAI
dual exhaust...i'd say get a full MAC set up, mac h pipe(mid pipe) mac long tubes and mac cat back.
tires? as in your getting new rims too?
17 or 18 x10.5 in back and 9 in the front..
posi/t-loc is a good addition (throw in some gears with it 3.73 or 4.10)
shocks i'd recommend ford c springs, drops ur car an inch in the bac and 1.25 up front, thats enough. if you want more, steeda springs are good.
another good bolt on is a 25% ASP Underdrive pulley. if u get that only get ASP pulley. its the safest choice pretty much. it'll give u hp and not make ur engine work as hard.

also a SCT XCAL 2 is a very good move too

cai- tunable induction
dual exhaust- mac long tubes, mac off road H, mac gt catback
tires- nitto and/or drag radials. 275 on 9" wheel. 315 on 10.5" wheel
posi- frpp or auburn t lok; frpp gears- 4.10 or 3.73 if you can't handle 4.10s
shocks- tokiko mach 1 shocks/struts and eibach pro kit springs, maximum motorsports c/c plates
sct xcal 2

procharger at 8psi stock internals, 11 psi if you forge them

check out supersix motorsports for 4.2L stroker kits

Im just starting to get into the'stang modding world :p

But how much of that is possible to do with basic hand tools (mainly the posi and shocks).

Also info on tuning (how-to) link will help.

A friend mentioned the Nitto tires to me. Ill check those out.

Are there any other minor/easy modifications that can be done to improve performance or fuel economy.

you cannot do the rear end gears t/lok with basic tools.
you can tune by plugging the xcal 2 into the ovd2 port under the drivers side dash and load the tune in less than 5 minutes, no tools required except finger

you have to rent a harmonic balancer puller or buy one to remove and reinstall the pulley

looks like the same design as the MAC fenderwell, with a little smaller of a filter. would sugguest looking at some of their stuff like their longtube headers, o/r mid-pipes, caster/camber plates, then maybe a tokico advance handling kit (lowering springs, shocks, and struts). then deceide on how much power you really want to put through it and either do a 8.8 swap or add the gears and t-lock to the 7.5

even though it gets hot it isn't really that bad, reach up and touch that upper intake manifold and see how hot that is which the air still has to pass through. also JLT only makes the intakes for the 05+ v6 mustang and the supercoupe.

good luck keeping a metal intake manifold cool whatsoever. the windstar manifold is a good stock upgrade, but a sheetmetal manifold with a correct volume and runner length is ideal
