Cant Fit Subwoofer Into Trunk

I went and bought a subwoofer encloser (with subs enclosed) from ebay (i was stupid and didnt get my trunk measurements, but I figured it would fit)
I have a 1999 v6 mustang, the sub box wont fit through the trunk or through the back seat. Is there anyway to maybe make enough room to fit it in?
I know this is a stretch, but in the back seat where the seats lock in place, could i cut the board with the locks on them off and fit in the subwoofer? (i could worry about the seats later.

you could get more access by removing the rear seat and bracket completely, but if it isnt close, measure and replace

id say sell it and get a custom one... that would be a lot easier than tryin to make one fid... and make sure you get dynamat... a lot of people including myself have had big problems with the trunk reattling... good luck with whatever you decide though
