2005+ 4.0l


i keep seeing this kid who got a 4.0L sixer and he thinks hes hot shit, anybody think i could take him? im not really into street racing but i just wanna know if he could ever give me trouble

with your new tune you should be ok.

ya may be able to take him if he is stock, but if he is moded then hell probalyu win, epeshaly if he has a tune for his mods.

i think ours pretty much requires a tune for just about anything cept for an exhaust right?

ya, if i had a s197 the first thing i would get would be a tuner, then other mods after.i know a lot of people have had truble with cai's with out a tune. don't know about the rest of the mods tho

and what kind of v6 he got, if it's a plain jane then don't worry about it your's looks better anyway
i really only like how the pony packages look (dont really care for the "retro" style wheels myself)

I've got a CAI and an exhaust without a tune. I haven't had any problems.

'Course I'm getting a tuner on Monday anyway.

I'm kinda curious about what numbers I'll be pulling after I get the tune though. I'm going to guess about 225 HP instead of 210.

I had meant 225 at the flywheel. So about 185 to the wheels.

205-215 rwhp would be cool though.
