IAC Help


Aloha gang,i usually hang out in the 05+ section trying to learn more about my GT,my wife has an 02 3.8,so i was hoping i could find some help from here.Anyone know if the IAC for a 02 3.8L is the same as the 4.6 of the same year?My buddy has one for a 4.6,but we don't know if there the same.Heres a pic and part #,mahalos for any advise...
The part# is F8VZ-9F715-AB

Edit-for some reason the pic won't work

i can tell you for sure that you have to remove the [img]'s around the pic because its asking you to save the picture, also my guess would be that they could be the same, more leaning towards they are

google it

Are the symtoms hunting idle?Especially when cold?

Usually IAC symtoms are stalling at idle, or trying to stall.

I got that prob right now. Everytime I put it in drive at night it drops to about 500 rpms and the lights start to cut off, but right when i give it gas to rev it up...its fine.

also another idle culprit on the 3.8 mustangs is the DPFE sensor but normally you will throw a code when it goes.
