Noise from engine by alternator

Hey guys i have a ticking sound coming from my alternator pulley. I just noticed it tonite while driving to a friends house. Im not sure if its the belt or if its the actual alterntor pulley. I would guess by the number of times it ticks its coming from the pulley itself. If anyone has any ideas on what may be causing this (if its something else) or if i can change the alternator pulley without swapping out the whole alternator i would apreciate it.
