this isnt a project to tackle
you realize its 9+hours rated for a reason?
you hvae to releave fuel pressure
take off upper intake
drain the radiator and the motor of antrifreeze
then fuel injectors and lower intake
as well as other hoses
now the heads
pull the power sterring pump pulley
take out alt
remove the bracket that holds both
discharge your A/c
remove your a/c compressor
take off valve coveres
take of head bolts
CAREFULLY remove head and DO NOT drop it
if it drops and you dent or scratch the bottom of the head or surface on the block
might as well replace it because it is no longer good
then place new gaskets on
and re-install everything
charge a/c
fill power sterring
re-connect fuel rail
adjust your valves before of course and check adjustment
thats just a rough run down btw

BTW...a few months after I first got my car I had to get the cylinder heads replaced. I was so worried about how much that was costing me, I didn't want to pay extra for upgrades. I have regretted that decision EVERY DAY since then. But I guess it's ok cuz eventually I'm gonna be getting a stroker anyway.

BTW Mo...I see you live in 540 VA. I do too. It might be a bit of a drive for you, but the shop that did my cylinder heads did a GREAT JOB for a GREAT PRICE. If you're willing to go to Richmond, drop me a PM and I'll hook you up with their contact info.

Hey Mo...The shop is called Buddy South. The phone # is 804-745-9724. The address is 10131 Hull Street Rd. Richmond, VA. When you call ask to speak to Brandon. He should be able to help you out. Hope this is helpful.
