Finding My 98 Car Computer

I am currently looking for my cars computer number. i have had a hard time finding it.

this is the only pictures that i have found to help me find it. Though my car has way more wires than this picture is showing. I just cannot locate it. All help if welcomed

take off the little plastic panel on the right side of your passenger footwell its back there

i took most of it off....but on the black clip that holds it in....just pop that off with a screw driver? I have a tone of wires back there because of the system in it

It's back there. Even if there are a lot of wires it shouldn't be that hard to find. It is going to be the big gray thing with a sticker on it. It is a 4 digit code. Actually that pic that you have is a pretty good one. Don't worry about any other wires Just look for the big rectangle with a sticker on it.

so do you pull the clip off of the piece? does it just pop out with a screw driver

pop up your door seal pop out that little round clip with a screw driver and pull
