a 26" tire will fit if you don't have any lowering springs... and you don't need to worry about speedo calibration if you only use them at the track

225 is the width of the tire in mm's you can roughly convert that to inches to get an estimate on your rim size... but it doesn't matter to much ...

55 is the percentage of your width that is the side wall... so ... your sidewall is 55% of 225 or 123.75mm

so in turn they end up being about 3 and an eight inch tall side walls... from rim to tread that is... i think ... don't hold me to that

so overall from ground to the top of the tire they should be something like 22.25 inches unless im smoking weed or something but its really early for that

grab some 16x10 cragers for the rear for 50 bucks a piece and some nice slicks and just use those at the track and your street tires on the street

you can pick up some 15*8's from speedway motors for $100 for two... then get any slicks you want that fit an 8 inch rim and are 26 inches tall...

if your serious about your track needs then do that... other wise just stick with what you got for now until you know what you want to do with it for sure

275s need a 9" tire or else they will bulge on the sides.

ahh tlok and tires what tiireesss
r/t has nothing to do with spinning or speed. if an 8-second car sits at the tree for 2 seconds then goes it can have a 2.000 r/t and a 1.5 60'...

i hooked great with bfg t/a drag radial 2's.
315/35/17

cut my 60' from 2.23 to 2.19\8-9. and cut .3 off my e/t
