where to start: here is a good place. we have a knowledgable community with links to websites and other sources to purchase products for your application

where to get stuff: depends on what you get. try places like mustangtuning.com now americanmuscle.com, v6mustangstuff.com, and there are many other places as well.

how to get stuff: when you buy through websites, they have a shopping cart feature and you can enter your credit or check card number and info and they direct deposit from your acct.

how to get installed: you can do most of the bolt on installs yourself with basic handtools. some of the modifications are written up in our article archives on the main page, but mustangworld.com has good how-to articles as well.

now, what to get: depends on what you want out of the car. most people will suggest exhaust, gears, cold air intakes, underdrive pulleys, sct xcalibrator 2 tunes, ring and pinion gears, etc., and the best way to find what you want is to research what these modifications do and if they would benefit the goals you have for your car.

CAI: K&N, look for it on ebay instalation is very simple and basic and should come with instructions

UD pulley VMPtuning has them with the SCT XCAL for $508, i recommend it
UD pulley install:
http://www.miracerros.com/mustang/pulley.htm

long tube headers, ive only seen mac models for the v6
instal(thanks to AB):
http://www.moddedmustangs.com/ford-m...r-install.html

gears and t-loc-
http://stores.ebay.com/Drivetrain-Specialists
i'd have a shop install those for about $200-300(u need to tune after, unless u have the SCT)

that should be a good help for first bolt ons
