IAC vavle?


Do our cars have these if so where

well we have an IAC sensor and in it is i guess what you could in a way call a valve or diaphram how ever thats spelled.

usually some carb cleaner will clean it out to do the trick
its located just behind your throttle body
the one on the throttle body itself if the TPS(throttle position sensor) that you do not hit with carb cleaner

Why do you ask? Are you having a problem? If so, you might need a tune up.
BTW...Chris diaphragm is the correct spelling.

well i was reading on the forum about the IAC making ur car idle shity and when you come to a stop it drops rpm and it goes all whack, sounds like whats happening to my car.

get some dieletric cleaner and shoot the IAC and the MAF
