ive seen 351w in person about 4 times
ive seen/own 1 v6 turbo mustang

the cost
$3000 for the motor'
if you cant build it $6k easy
you'll need also0-
tranny
wiring harness
computer
radiator
radiator fan
motor mounts
re-done a/c and power sterring lines
new radiator hoses
new rear end
new tranny
new bellhousing
new fuel pump
new fuel Setup!
new cluster
different suspension for the new added weight

but that doesnt cost too much?!
not to mention other misc parts

a 427 is a big block. BIG BLOCK, 351=SMALL block
the biggest a 351 can be stroked is to a 408

if that is under $15k i'll be surprised
for the total swap
thats deffinitly doing it yourself everything
and $15k
i can easily spend $15k more effectivly and out run a 351, 393, 408, 427 all motor car
in a V6 motor
and thats vs a high compression race gas only all motor V8

well if i were to get a V8 the last one i'd ever buy is a 281 4.6
way to small of a V8

i like the 347s
302s
351s and something about the 393CI strikes my interest
427 would be cool but i wouldnt want to go so big unless i wanted a 7 second car
and in that case i'd ask for more cubes

my next project is either a budget fox 351 i want 9s all motor
8 on spray
or a fox V6 to be the fastest v6

well its not very common to see a 347 new edge

why dont you pull off a h/c ls1 rx7 swap for your next project, i know its somewhat common but when you roll up to a badass car on the street and rev theyll laugh at you...

thats 94 and 95s

and chris it can be done for about 9grand if your not buying a brand new turn key engine I would with a shop doing the drop this summer in a 98 cost the guy 6k labor included but he had the engine and tranny alrealread and you can get a 351 tranny combo for 4-5k turnkey so 10-12tops

i went to junkyard today. one had a fuel injected 302, carb 351W, and 460. all complete and startable, ready to drop. 250 ea.

the only cars i know of that came with a 351w in it is the s-351s, bronco, lightning, and earlier mustangs. im sure the yards bound to have one of those more likely a mustang or a bronco tho
