if you noticed a difference....i'd say ur just talkin..u might notice but its not at all a big one. headers..depending on the headers you get.
and what mods. more mods give headers more power...short tubes=shit. go for long tubes..u can see 20hp...that you'll notice

short tubes are not shit first of all. If it improves over stock then it is good. Also you have to take in consideration there plan. If they want turbos they surely can't go with LTs. Also you really can't give a definite number. You also don't have LT headers yet. Each car will produce different numbers.

I noticed a small gain after installing my MAC fenderwell CAI, and that was going from the OE intake tube and snorkel with K&N filter, even more so after the SCT tune. As for the LT's you may lose some slight low end torque but will regain the power as topend HP.

you will not notice power of a cai at all, just maybe a little whirring sound. you will not notice short tube headers power either. long tubes, you will notice top end pull much greater than down low

i disagree about not noticing any gains from a CAI on the v6 mustang, i'm not talking about anything big but small gains can be yeilded.

there are many different kits out there with different designs that also use different filters, and filter locations... look at the JLT kits, jay tucker dyno's his, and i'm pretty sure the one for the 4.0 v6 yeilded about 10hp, nothing crazy and probably wont get that SOTP feel when comparing to something like gears... the no gain from the CAI outlook seems to be common amungst those who bought theirs from ebay, not sure where you got yours from though?

ok basically its a lil arguable on the feel of the difference of the CAI...
basically if you do notice it this is what it'll be: a lil whistle sound(mine is now noticable at 2100 rpms if i tap the gas.) also when u switch gears. if you dont here the sound the first time give it a few times u will. as far as feeling a difference, if you notice a difference it'll be something like better throttle response and a lil better acceleration. but dont be alarmed or worried if it doesnt kick your head back....cuz i highly doubt it will, if it does you have a weak neck lol

you wont really feel a 10hp mod difference unless it is 10 hp across the entire rpm band. 10hp is about 1 tenth in the 1/4, not real noticable except for throttle response and sound

a 10hp gain is noticeable in a sub-200hp vehicle, now in a higher horsepower application it is much harder to notice.
