Self or Factory?

bcp5008 Regular Join Date: Sep 2006 Posts: 53	Self or Factory? for most of your guys modifications did you do them yourself or did you take them somewhere? things like shocks, gears, exhaust and other things like that??

All the mods done to my car I have done except for installing the stereo head unit. I'm gonna do the exhaust myself, but gears, and springs I'm taking to a shop. I'll install what I can install and have the tools for. If I don't feel comfortable installing it I won't do it.

you can do it with an extra jack safely, but an alignment is needed anyhow. so it is more convenient to have a shop do it all at once. plus, an hour per corner is a pita

You dont NEED a spring compressor for our cars, but you should have a basic idea of whats happening to the spring and how to get it out without. Its not hard.
