How big are the stock wheels on a 02 V6 Mustang?

15 inch in most cases.

go read your tire.

it will have 3 numbers

215/45/15 the last number is your wheel size.

i have 16 stockers on my 02 but read the side wall of your tier.

my 99 came wit 15s stock, i think somewhere around 02 they cjhanged the stockers to 16" for the sixers

i hope everyone knows taking a tape measurer to your rim and reading 16 doesnt mean its 16. my stockers read 16 but theyre 15
my 17x9s read 18x10 but i can assure you they're NOT

+1 or some came with the "premium" 5 spoke wheels which were 16x8 with 225/?/16

Not sure on the 02' BUT my 01's are 16's but check ur tire.

my 01 has 16.... i think 01 is when they changed out the 15's for 16's

Alright so if I was to get the 17 inch wheels off my buddys 03 cobra what tire size would I need to keep the overall size the same?

EDIT: My wheels right now are 16s with normal stock tires (I still have the same ones that came on my car, only 26k miles lol)

there is no tire you can use from 16 to 17

no thats not what I mean, i mean I want to use lower profile tires so the overall size is the same so I dont need to recalibrate anything and so my ratios are the same.

That would fit on a cobra wheel? I was wrong, there 99 cobra wheels, he says there the same as on the 03-04 cobra though.

the 99 cobra wheels are not the same as the 03-04 cobra wheels but the tire size I posted will fit both wheels regardless.
