hey, i like how your car is lookin. i own an 02 v6 and i'm supercharging it very soon. i've got a forged 4.3 stroker kit and a ported m112/plenum. still gotta order heads/cam/adapter intake, but thats all gonna happen next week. ordered a bbk twin 65mm throttle body and jlt cold air this morning. one thing i've been wondering about, and that i didn't see on your car, is there a spot for an intercooler? cuz i'm thinkin the engine is gonna get way hot without one...

its all good, i'm still doing it lol. just gotta get the rest of the little things. if theres no intercooler there might be a problem. i'd have to at least get water meth to cool the temp. i'll get a hold of tom and see about the intercooler issue

You can't intercool the m112, and people aren't having great luck with water/meth either. Just make sure the tuner watches the a/f and IAT temps and you should be alright.

theres no intercooler so i guess your going to have to get water meth setup for your car.

I don't believe there is anything made thus far for an intercooler to be used. which is why many people use the water/meth as a means for intercooling.

on a side note, never thought someone from the 707 would be on here haha. Kudos.

Right, but we don't own cobras.

We're adapting (hence the adapter plate) ..... And the adapter plate is not set up for an intercooler, and if it was you you need an 6-8" cowl hood.

Last I checked, you were adapting the COBRA Blower to your V6. Thus making it completly different from what the cobra has and doesnt have. You just need to use a underdrive pulleys and water/meth if you wanna go that route.

gotcha. well good thing i've got a ram air hood to at least get some heat out. and yes, i realize i dont own a cobra. thanks for pointing that out though. i just didn't know the adapter wasn't made to fit an intercooler
