but if u live n a small town like me emissions ppl are non existant and for the inspection the exhaust just cant be redickulously loud

Ya, no test here either... however im just moding my v6 motor. I dont care to go crazy fast so no reason to switch to a GT or swap hehe.

yeah im just keeping it small till the six shits the bed... ( doubt it will happen before 150k... im at 75k) but i eventually want to build a high compression nitrous monster 331. ill take the 5.0 block over the modular just because its an easier swap.

yea IMO if i had something like that i would just get it impounded and get sent to jail for speeding but back to topic the 5.0 swap would be LOADS of work and imo its not really worth it

the 4.6 uses the T3560 ... which is NOT the T5...

Who ever was inquiring about the Carb'd set up, don't don't don't!! it would be the biggest pain in the ass to rewire your whole car... and trust me you will have to so don't

the 4.6 DOES NOT use the same tranny as the 3.8

its the SAME amount of work dude
EVERYTHING the same amount of work


you have a bad out-look on this swap

and no one has answered the mans question


you have to change all these WETHER ITS 5.0 or 4.6


radiator
hoses
fuel pump
fuel setup
wiring harness
rear end
tranny
computer
gauges
a/c lines
accumulator for the a/c
power sterring lines
heater hoses
other misc parts i may have forgotten


it is much cheaper to just get a GT

MM&FF magazine took the BONE stock motor stock bottom end, heads, cam, intakes to 483rwhp at 16psi i believe or 13psi
