V6 Exhaust, What To Choose?

I was thinking of going with the cat-back exhaust from bassani, but there is also the flowmaster, which is cheaper. But price is not an issuse with me..Can anyone suggest what I should do for exhaust? I'm looking for the best results.

for hp im not sure if bassani is better the magnoflow magnoflow will give you a few extrea horses over flowmaster

but in my opinion flowmaster and mac sound best
although i have heard one magnoflow that sounds good

Bassani is the highest quality out there. Right up there with Borla. If you can afford Bassani, go for it, and the sound is not bad. Be sure to get a midpipe with high flow cats or no cats at all (X or H pipe) to gain power and even more sound!

clinton_stearns if you want i have a link for many different v6 exhaust sound clips...none of bassani, unless you've got a 05+ V6

but i do have a clip for borla since AB has now mentioned it, its not thebest video though

If you want the most power, here is what to get:

Mac 1 3/8" long tube headers
Mac off road short H pipe
Magnaflow catback (for the GT mustang of the same year)

But the muffler makes very littler power difference as opposed to the long tubes and no cats. The best sounding may just be the Mac catback as well. Even the Borla makes good power as it is not chambered like Flowmaster, but is straight through like Magnaflow.

and Chris, definitely post the exhaust sound links, he may sacrifice 1-2rwhp for a better sound. Maybe you could add my new video to the links?

just did

clinton_stearns check those out, i never really liked magnoflow but with AB's set up it sounds badass, ive never heard or seen a bad remark about them

but for the hp difference's from a muffler...just go with the sound you'd like....you will never look down the road and say "man i wish i got these mufflers for that extra 2hp"

also notice most those clips dont have long tubes or no cats
ive heard flowmaster with no cats and stock headers(sounds shitty) but with cats sounds great...

if you dont have to worry about a inspection sticker and you dont mind a loud exhaust. pypesexhaust.com has a off-road x-pipe for 100 bucks. all you have to worry about after that is flow tubes and what mufflers to go with. i have 2 race mufflers on my 95 and the x pipe and it made a huge difference

But the most power is in long tubes and an off road mid pipe. shorties wont get near the flow as long tubes...

so long tubes are a must

Long tubes will give you an amazing sound, and a very noticeable power gain!
