Fastest 2006 V6


i have a 2006 V6 mustang. i have a magnaflow exhaust (not a cat back) w/ stock cat back. AIRRAID intake and 19' KONIG wheels. should i get a superchip or tuner? should i get a cat back with a biger pipe? wont that release backpressure and make me loose power? i was thinking maybe a true dual. Basically how can my car as fast as possible? possible a supercharger/turbo? which is best price and performance? what would it cost me after install? (please include price estimates on upgrades including install/labor) thanks again for the help

get a tuner after you get your catback
i have a sct but im about to trade someone for their sniper
i paid 385 shipped but i also bought 3 canned tunes for 125$

wouldnt a cat back make me loose power as i loose my back-end pressure? how big a pipe should i have, 3"? is it worth the increse?

it might make you loose a little bottom end if you get to big of pipe but if you get like 2 and a quarter to two and a half you should get some gains

True dual will not make yo gain much more then your single axel back gave you. It has been proven on other forums. Converting to true duel on our cars is mainly for looks. But you should have got a better cai and a tuner at the same time. But anyways order yourself a tuner and tune from justin at vmp.

true duals will sound better too
and it wont look as much like a v6
mine will look almost exactly like a gt when i get mine
cept for the little foglights

Heres someone with a magnaflow single. He got a mrt aero turbine single and gained 8hp and 8tq.
"I went from a Magnaflow to an Aero-Turbine... I definitely felt a difference with the butt dyno... in fact it was so noticable in the upper RPMs I thought my butt dyno was broke... so i actually took the car over to Alternative Auto and put it on the dyno.. sure enough the dyno showed that I did pick up some HP over the Magnaflow (which we know is better than stock... )

For basic bolt ons maybe yeah, true duals may not offer much over the single exhaust, but with bigger headers and ANY power adder you will want true duals.
