not a chance
not even on slicks
what are you doing to get 260hp?
and is tht 260rwhp?
if so you need a s/c or turbo or nitrous for that
or a built motor

with 7.5, t lok, 4.10s, bolt ons, and bfg t/a dr 2s i ran 1.9x 60's and ran at the "House of Hook" (carolina dragway) without breaking a thing. i have a 4r70w tranny though; if you launch with a stick from redline, be prepared to pay for a rear

I broke mine 2 times in two years before going to a 31 spline 8.8 rear. This was with a automatic with 330rwhp, M/T drag radials and 1.7 60ft's.

umm i think theres a slight difference between having a s/c and just bolt ons or just 4.10s

like a slight 100+rwhp difference

I was just saying it could handle its self very well if you take care.
I abused it up to the 300hp mark but after I passed that hp level things started going wrong. You just can't leave the line like you hate it with a 7.5 rear.
