Was throwing around the idea of putting a 96-98 3.8 V6 in my '92 hatch since my 4-banger seems like it's going to take a sh1t. How complicated would this swap be? I know I need motor mounts, computer, wire harness, transmission, bellhousing, have the speedometer recalibrated, etc. Since everyone and their mother has a 5.0, I want to do something different and do a V6 swap. Is it worth it?
because of that. he wants somthing diferent

I'm actually thinking about working out the bugs on my current Mustang and trading it in. My car is extremely clean and I think I could get a decent trade in value on it. There's a 96-98 V6 Mustang for sale close to here for $2,850. I'm thinking about picking that up. I figured gears, exhaust, intake, etc. wouldn't hurt that thing.

I don't think anyone is going to give you a good trade-in value on your car because to the 'regular' car-buyer, a '92 4-cylinder Mustang isn't that desireable. However, a clean Emerald green '92 hatch might be worth something to someone wanting to drop a V8 into a nice body or something. Point being, I'd look into both options when it comes time.
