shaking


when i shift into 5th gear and accelerate my car shakes really bad (unless im over 85mph) idk y and its driving me crazy.. can u tell me what it might b caused by and how to fix it?


il tryn geta vid or at least describe it better if u need....

shifting into an overdrive gear at to low a speed/rpm may be your problem

yea if u go into 5th and punch it, it dont wanna go. does it in my parents 05 too it's normal im sure

when im in 5th at 40 mph i don't have shaking problems...

i want to say that you might have some lose tranny mount parts or something

5th at 40 wtf why u in 5th at 40 lol.

the 05 shakes a little and makes the bog sound if i punch at low mph in 5th, like 50

+1 on fuel economy.......you dont need to be shifting in high rpms all the time. shift into 5th as fast as possible.

the shaking started after the turbo.. when i was n/a i could shift into 5th and it would run great... now that i have the turbo it shakes really bad only in 5th at rpms below 4k.. if it had something to do with the tranny id think it would do it with any gear... right?...

it doesnt shake between the gears it shakes while im in 5th below4k

could just be the extra stain the turbo is producing is making 5th need more rpm, what your A/f in 5th at WOT

running 5th at 1000 rpms FTW lol....saves gas. Though i usually keep my rpms at about 1500 or so when going through town

i keep it at about 1500 there town 25 30 in 3rd
and could it be the turbo is sending in air but not enough to do anything but it is trying im just guessing i really have no idea

Mustang V6 3.8L Turbo Charged @ 8.7psi- Need dyno tune...
Just another guess here, but without the proper tune you may be feeling the effects
from detonation or a lean misfire condition while under load in OD.
Either of those could be disastrous especially FI.

what does your vacuum read?

it stays pretty consistant at 20 when i just cruse... i havent paid much attention to it when i accelerate n fifth... and no kyle i havent gotten the dyno tune.. is it possible for the tune to cause the shaking? cause to be honest i have no idea..
